FARM
In April we visited the farm.
It was a beautiful day which we enjoyed a lot! We could feed the animals (sheep, goats, ducks, hens…), milk the cow AURORA, visit the donkey and the pig JOSEFINA.
We also prepared bread and played around in the garden!
It was a very special day for us!!

Welcome to Nightingale 2011
Mothers and pupils in Prep 2 have had their own experiences during the adaptation period. Although each child followed their own pace, after three weeks the adaptation period was over and now everyone is happy to come to school.
We would specially like to thank all the mothers' support during those weeks. They have showed patience and understanding, they have welcomed our suggestions and, above all, they have been very helpful! Thank you so much!
We are very proud of all Prep 2s!
Prep 3s also had news at the start of the school year.
The change of classroom and teachers was a little hard at the beginning, but they soon realized that they are now big boys and girls. So, no more crying. Congratulations!
Prep 4s were completely surprised when classes began. They were now grown ups! They had to go to the classroom ON THEIR OWN! And guess what? The classroom turned out to be on the first floor, close to Prep 5's! How exciting!
Prep 5, oh! So many news! They have finally become the eldest of the school!!! They look tall and strong and are admired by the rest of the children.
Numbers, letters, English…. There is so much to learn!
Having lunch at school is a new experience - they have to bring their own lunch boxes, just like their big brothers and sisters in primary school!
In addition, coming to school double shift was quite tiring at first, but then they got used to it and in a few weeks they began to enjoy their new timetable a lot.
A long year full of activities lies ahead.
We hope you enjoy our newsletter!
